Basecamp · Week 3 — Learning Our Rhythms

Life SkillsDraftWhole groupWeek 3

Objectives

Wildlings learn the daily and weekly rhythms of Wilder — tool use, movement blocks, nature time, and quiet work. The question is 'What does a Wilder day actually feel like?'

Materials

basic hand tools, journals, outdoor gear, transition signal (bell or chime)

Activities

Coaches walk through a full sample day, introducing basic hand tools safely. A short nature walk establishes the outdoor routine and expectations. Wildlings practice transitions between activities using a signal or song. A simple first project (e.g., whittling a stick or folding a journal) gives everyone a shared early success. The week closes with a review of what felt good and what felt hard.

Coach notes

Keep stakes low; this week is about rhythm and safety, not output.
