Give · Week 1 — Noticing a Need

Service & GivingDraftWhole groupWeek 1

Objectives

Wildlings identify real needs in their community that they could help address. The question is 'What does someone near me actually need?'

Materials

brainstorm chart paper, research materials, project idea sheets

Activities

A brainstorm session maps needs Wildlings have noticed at home, in the Studio, or in the wider community. Small groups research or discuss one need in more depth. A guest conversation or story introduces an example of meaningful service. Wildlings begin sketching possible project ideas. The week closes with narrowing down to a shortlist of project options.

Coach notes

Let needs come from genuine observation, not an adult-assigned cause, to keep motive authentic.
